A huge win for anti-discrimination in Ghana has just been delivered after a public outcry.
According to information GhanaCelebrities.Com has sighted, the Ghana Education Service has ordered the Achimota School to admit the two Rastafarian students who were refused admission into the school.

In a communique directed to the school, the Ghana Education Service says the students should be allowed to school provided they ‘tie their hair neatly’.
The communique notes there is evidence the kids are really rastafari and thus must be able to practice their religious belief.

“We have asked [the headmistress] to admit the students. The student is a Rastafarian and if there is evidence to show that he is Rastafarian, all that he needs to do is to tie the hair neatly,” the GES DIrector-General, Professor Kwasi Opoku-Amankwa said.
