This is top class banter you’re definitely going to love!
Accra Academy are trolling Achimota School after the school trended today for turning away a Rastafarian student.
Earlier today, news went viral that two first year students placed in Achimota were refused admission due to their dreadlocks hairstyle.

The school claims the students have to barber their hair before being accepted, although it’s a tenet in rastafarianism not to cut your hair.
Essentially the students were being discriminated against based on their religion, which is illegal under the 1992 constitution.
The story has gone viral with Ghanaian dropping different reactions, but perhaps the best reaction of all has come from Achimota’s rival school Accra Academy.
In a post we’ve spotted on social media, Accra Academy has been shown to have a student with dreadlocks who has been allowed to school without any impediment.
The post, which appears to come from an alumni group of the school, praised Accra Academy for being inclusive and non-discriminatory – ‘an Academy for all’.

The post bashed Achimota for being a ‘colonial’ school enforcing colonial laws!
It’s a beautiful post to behold and Accra Aca can be said to have thoroughly kicked Achimota’s a$$ in this instance.
