Former Ghanaian Auditor General and shading legend, Daniel Domelevo, is engaged in yet another banter with the NPP government.
Domelevo and the government are back at war after a letter was written to him directing him to hand over the administration of the audit service to his successor, Acting Auditor General Johnson Akuamoah Asiedu.
However, Domelevo says he cannot hand over to Asiedu because after he went on leave and returned, nobody handed over the service to him.

Domelevo was forcibly asked to proceed on leave in June 2020. He returned in March this year but was immediately forced to retire under claims that he’s past the retirement age and that he’s a Togolese.
According to him, he has therefore not been in charge of the service in close to year therefore he has nothing to hand over.
He added that if government would direct the acting auditor General to hand back to him, he would then gladly hand over back to him.
“…If you so wish, please direct the Acting Auditor-General to hand over to me and I will thereafter handover to him.,” he wrote.
