President John Magufuli
Tanzanian President John Magufuli has died–the country’s Vice-President-Samia Suluhu has just announced on national TV.
Before the announcement of his death today, he was missing from the public for 18 days. Magufuli had last appeared in public on February 27.
The 61-year-old was rumoured to have fallen seriously ill. It is currently unclear the cause of his death.
