Today, March 12th 2021 is the birthday of Ghana’s first lady, Rebecca Akufo-Addo.
Rebecca is trending big time over her age, 70 years. Looking at how young she looks, literally one person cannot believe that she’s 70 years of age.

Below are 10 facts about Ghana’s first lady Rebecca Akufo-Addo.
1 She was born on the 12th of March 1951 to Jacob Hackenburg Griffiths-Randolph and Frances Phillipina Griffiths-Randolph. She’s a member of the Ga-Adangbe tribe of coastal Ghana.
2 Her father was a famous judge who served as the Speaker of Parliament in Ghana’s 3rd Republic.
3 She attended the Achimota Primary School, Wesley Grammar and Aburi Girls.
4 She is a qualified secretary. Rebecca graudated from the Government Secretarial School.
5 She has been married to Nana Akufo-Addo for a whopping 24 years. They have 5 daughters – Gyankroma, Valerie, Edwina, Adriana and Yeboakua.
6 She’s an enstooled queen. Rebecca was named the Development Queen mother of the Ada Traditional Area during the 82nd anniversary celebration of the Asafotufiami festival in 2019. Her stool name is Naana Ode Opeor Kabukie I.
7 She’s a devoted philanthropist. Rebecca Akufo-Addo runs the Rebecca Akufo-Addo Foundation, an NGO aimed at enhancing efforts of government amongst Ghanaian women and children.
8 She’s a staunch Christian, as is her husband. They worship at the Accra Ridge Church.
9 Aside her foundation work she’s notable for fighting against malaria in Africa. Rebecca advocated for improved health outcomes for vulnerable groups mostly affected by malaria including the poor, pregnant women and children under five years old.
10 She spent a good portion of her life in the U.K, just as her husband. She worked there for several multinational law firms.
