Today was the judgement day for the election petition after weeks of court proceedings. After reading a lengthy ruling, the court came to a final judgement.
The petition was rejected on the bases that the petitioner (NDC) couldn’t provide any valid evidence to back his claim that the election was rigged by the 1st respondent(EC) in favor of the 2nd respondent(NPP).
This means Nana Akufo Addo has been upheld as the president of Ghana which means the EC gave a valid results after the December 7, 2020 election.
