Stonebwoy Mocks Old Man Samini For Changing His Name TO ‘1King’ – Screenshot

The ‘1 something’ trend continues and many Ghanaian acts are adding the tag ‘1’ to their names to claim supremacy in the industry.

Stonebwoy and Shatta Wale who began this craze now call themselves ‘1Gad’ and ‘1Don’ respectively and Samini has jumped on the bandwagon calling himself ‘1king’.

He claims he is the king of Dancehall music in Ghana so he should be addressed as ‘1King’ by his followers henceforth.

Stonebwoy, who found this amusing, took to snapchat to mock at entertainers changing their names to ‘1 Whatever’ just because he called himself ‘1Gad’.

He said while he remains to true ‘1Gad’ others are copying blindly and naming themselves 1King and 1Don.

“There’s only 1Gad soooo many kings And soooo many Dons…example Don Bortey!! Example: King Jerry, King Paluta, King Kong etc. but only #1Gad,” Stonebwoy wrote.
