Miss Ghana 2020 winners--1st Runner-up has resigned
Miss Ghana 2020 1st Runner Up, Issabella Agbo, 19, has resigned—and she is alleging countless things as the cause of her resignation, including exploitation and fraudulent misrepresentation in relation to their contracts.
Issabella Agbo sent out a resignation letter dated 25 January 2021 to Inna Patty and her Exclusive Events which we have seen a copy–but we are told the organisers say they wouldn’t accept the resignation.
Over the last few years, about 10 previous Miss Ghana winners have resigned or have come out to erect allegations bordering on exploitation, embezzlement of funds raised, verbally and physically abuse and even ‘PIMPEDING’ against the organisers of the Miss Ghana Beauty Pageant, Exclusive Events.
In an exclusive interview with GhanaCelebrities.Com’s Founding Editor-Chris-Vincent Agyapong, the Miss Ghana 2020 1st Runner Up-Issabella Agbo has laid bare allegations that Inna Patty and her team at Exclusive Events are ‘exploiting’ them—by making them use their own monies to pay for transportation to various events.
And that, they swapped the initial contracts they signed promising them monthly allowance as winners and other prizes to another which states that they will get nothing for participating and winning the Miss Ghana pageant.
According to Issabella Agbo, Inna Patty and her team actually forged her signature and that of the other girls onto an amended contract which makes no mentions of their prizes—claiming that it is the same as the initial contracts they signed.
In fact, she told GhanaCelebrities.Com that on one occasion she mentioned to the organisers that she cannot continue to use her own monies to pay for uber to attend events scheduled by them as it has become expensive–and she was told to use “trotro” if she cannot afford uber anymore.
Issabella Agbo also stated during the interview that, she did not know about the horrible reputation of the Miss Ghana Beauty Pageant in relation to similar accusations made by previous winners, and that she is only 19 years—and she was in secondary school at the time without access to the internet when the Miss Ghana scandal took over the nation.
In a series of group chat spotted by GhanaCelebrities.Com which have Inna Patty and others in there, the winners of Miss Ghana 2020 are seen constantly telling the organisers they cannot afford as much as 60 GHS for transportation to an event and therefore they should be picked up if they are required to attend–to which the organisers object, insisting they should find their way.
GhanaCelebrities.Com reached out to Inna Patty and Isaac of Miss Ghana for comments but they have failed to respond.
