Funke Akindele Shockingly Reveals How She ‘Settled For Less’ By Marrying A Man With 3 Baby Mamas

Nollywood actress and comedian Funke Akindele Bello has delved into how reluctant she was to settle down with her husband JJC Skillz.

According to her, it was never an easy decision because Skillz has three baby mamas.

The Jenifa’s Diary star says she dreaded what people would say about her. People started commenting that she is settling for less and Skillz’ baby mamas would destroy their marriage with drama if she said yes to him.

“There were rumors on set that he was being bossy. People were saying that he has three baby mamas. They now started this, ‘Funke’ settles for less’ talk. I read comments like ‘three children? Baggage or why can’t she just settle with someone single?’ So, I decided to give myself the pep talk.”

Funke says after careful thought, she decided to pray to God about it and she finally decided to just go ahead with the marriage.

It was not as if there were any available decent men in her life after all.

“I can be very vindictive, I will give my everything but once you mess up, to correct it is a problem for me, and I’m like for this man to be like this, he’s a good man. His kids are grown, and their mothers are all married, happily married, in their homes! I put it in before God that if it is in thy will for me to marry Abdul, let it work, but if there will be problems, let everyone go in peace. That’s what I told God, it’s you and I leave it to you.”

As they always say, the rest is history— today, Funke and Skillz have one of the commendable and enviable celeb marriages.
