Nigerian gospel singer Mercy Chinwo has condemned the ‘Silhouette Challenge’ which has taken over social media the past few days.
Mercy took to her Instagram handle to give her comments on the challenge, advising women not to partake in it.
The ‘Silhouette Challenge’ became the trend of the moment this week. It involved ladies dancing seductively using a red filter on Tiktok and Twitter.
Unfortunately, it took a nasty turn as some ladies started showing their n*kkidness thinking they could hide under the cover of the ‘silhouette’.
Reacting to the trend, the ‘Excess Love’ hitmaker warned that women must carry themselves with dignity and not follow any sinful trend out there.
“Dear women, you don’t have to follow every trend. Carry thyself with dignity, know your worth.. this is why you are different. ” “Let your light so shine before men so that they may see your good works (Lifestyle, character) and glorify your father in heaven.. #ISTANDAGAINSTSILHOUTTECHALLENGE.” she wrote.
