The Untold, Inspiring and Touching Story Behind Diana Hamilton’s ‘Adom’ Finally REVEALED

Diana Hamilton‘s gospel single ‘Adom’ is one of the most popular songs around right now. The song garners airplay at almost every program or event held in Ghana and is also constantly on the top charts.

Hamilton has finally revealed what inspired her to write a song which became such a mega hit.

Speaking with Ike De Unpredictable on Angel Fm’s Entertainment Show, she said that the song was inspired by her sister who finally delivered a healthy baby after 4 miscarriages.

Hamilton said her sister’s suffering being brought to an end by God’s grace is what moved her to write ‘Adom’.

Even the baby that was delivered after 4 miscarriages was not an easy birth, she narrated.

”The doctors told her the baby would not survive because the fluid-filled membrane which cushioned her was gone. They advised that she aborts the baby or she would end up with an infection that could kill her. A whole lot of frightening reports from the health officers. She decided to keep the baby anyway. They said the unborn baby was lying on bones”, Diana said.

According to her the sister finally delivered and due to that joy, she was inspired to write the song which has now become one of if not the biggest hit in Ghana.
