Late President Rawlings to Be Buried At The Military Cemetery And Not His Hometown

Information we have gathered shows that the mortal remains of the late former President Rawlings will not be buried in his hometown but at the Military cemetery in Accra.

This was announced during the farewell service held today Wednesday, January 27, 2021.

Before his burial, the remains will be driven through the principal streets of Accra for the citizens to bid him farewell before the casket is lowered into the ground.

The gun carriage which carries the casket of the late former president Rawlingsdrapped in Ghana flag will drive through the ridge round about, Osu castle, Giffard road, GBC road, the 37 military hospital, the Burma camp military barracks and finally the military cemetery at the Airport by pass.
