It was drama time a couple of days ago in the parliament house. From Carlos Ahenkorah snatching ballot box to Ursula Owusu comfortably sitting on the laps of her fellow member of parliament.
It was a day that would be hard to forget— to think that these man and women were able to cause a complete turmoil and showcase violence and irresponsibleness when they were supposed to be role models for the many of us.

Ursula comfortably sat on the laps of Hon Mintah Akandoh, the member of parliament for Juaboso.
Finally delving into what led to Ursula behaving in that manner, he says that when the ruling NPP members came and saw them (the NDC’s) on the right, they respectfully went for the left side but Ursula refused to moved with them.
“When the NPP MPs came in, they saw that we were on the right side so they went to the left but Ursula refused. Cletus Avoka was sitting down and decided to go to the washroom, by the time he came back Ursula had taken his seat.”

He says Ursula simply would not listen to any reason at all so when she also stood up, he took over her seat and on her return, she said nothing and just sat on him.
“We tried to persuade her but she declined. She also left the seat and I sat on it. When she came she just sat on my lap. She didn’t say anything to me, she just sat and I didn’t say anything”, he explained.
