Musician Becca lost her biological mother, madam Julie Yiadom-Oti in London yesterday after a short illness.

The news was first reported on social media and later confirmed by sources close to the family.

Before her death, Becca and her mum were not in best of terms. Becca had cut her off because she(her mother) was not in agreement of the marriage to Sani, Becca’s Nigerian husband.

Becca’s mum granted an exclusive interview with Chris-Vincent Agyapong Febiri, founding editor of GhanaCelebrities.Com and made some stunning revelation about her daughter.

She spoke at length on various issues including how she got pregnant with Becca as a teenager but kept her even in the face of opposition from her own family.
