A new trend has began on social media called ‘Charlie Charlie’ and from videos and commentary flying about, the game is very dangerous to play.

The game, according to a fictional expert in a video, the game summons an evil demon known as Charlie who answers questions from the player till the game ends.

To participate, a player crosses two pencils on a piece of paper with “YES and NO” written at the four corners.

The person now summons the spirit by saying, “Charlie Charlie Are You There”. The pencil moves to a yes or no if the spirit is around.

There is no scientific backing to how the pencil moves but many who shared videos on social media, the pencil seem to move and they take to their heels.

The strange and dangerous tip players forget is that after you summon Charlie, one must end the game by asking “Charlie Can We Stop Playing?” then Saying Goodbye and breaking the pencils.

According to an expert identified on TikTok as @ariacyrus, the spirit will continue to torment you if you forget to say “Goodbye”.
