Lawyer Adwoa Safo Fingered As The NPP MP Who Voted Against Mike Ocquaye – Full Details

Member of Parliament for Dome Kwabenya, Hon. Lawyer Adwoa Safo’s name has popped as the NPP MP who allegedly voted against Mike Ocquaye Senior as the speaker of the 8th Parliament.

Last night, the NDC emerged victors as their proposal to make former Minority Leader, Alban Sumaila Kingsford Bagbin The Speaker of the 8th Parliament was honoured with the majority votes.

Apparently, one of the NPP MPs voted for the opposition to make that possible since the house is equally split.

Following that, social media users haven’t ceased casting insinuations.

MP for Dome Kwabenya, Lawyer Adwoa Safo’s name has popped up as the NPP member who has allegedly betrayed the party.

The reason for her name coming up is that Mike Ocquaye Senior tried to kick her out of her post as he called his son to contest her in the NPP primaries.

According to Hon Kennedy Agyapong, Prof Mike Ocquaye even tried to convince him to campaign against Adwoa Safo who is his baby mother.

In a close contest, Adwoa Safo won the primaries with just 10 votes against Mike Ocquaye Junior.

According to some social media users, Adwoa Safo has allegedly voted against Mike Ocquaye Senior as a revenge for his greediness!
