Five Ghanaian Music Stars To Watch Out For In 2021

2021 is finally hear and many hope it brings in good stuffs than the previous year.

Last year brought out some big collaborations in Ghana. Talking about Shatta Wale’s feature on Beyonce’s Album, Stonebwoy and Kerri Hillson’s feature and Sarkodie’s International gigs.

This year promises to be much more interesting as some Ghanaian musicians are showing signs of releasing monster hit songs year round.

Here is a list of five music Stars to look out for in 2021 besides Sarkodie, Stonebwoy, Shatta Wale and other A-List acts.

Kumericans

This year, the spotlight will also be on the Ashanti Region as the movement which began last year, Kumericans, will begin to do exploits.

If not exaggerating, some International acts including Stormzy and Vic Mensa are already in Ghana recording verses on some hit Kumerican anthems which will be released this year.

Wendy Shay

Rufftown signed singer Wendy Shay treated Ghanaians to more controversies than hits last year but she has shown signs of upping her game this year.

She has already stated that her vision for 2021 is to win the Grammys and also be crowned as Queen of African music. We might even get an album or EP from her camp before the year ends.

Kidi

Last year Kidi did amazing with his monster hit recording ‘Blue EP’ although COVID was at its peak, the musician won more fans over and his songs was on constant rotation on radio.

He even had an international remix of his song ‘Say Cheese’ with American singer and producer Teddy Riley.

Medikal

Rapper Medikal had a good year in 2020. Over 50% of features done within that year had his verse on, which shows the good works he is doing.

This year, the rapper has promised to sign two other acts to his label and tipped of other great projects planned for music lovers.

2021 promises to bring out great content for our listening pleasure. Just to add a few, Shatta Wale will be releasing his GOG album and has already shared artworks on his social media pages.
