The flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress Party, John Dramani Mahama has said that the party will continue to protest while they head to court.
According to former President Mahama, though the party’s National Executive Committee has decided to go to court coming Tuesday, 4th January 2021, members of the party will continue to legitimately protest to ensure the enforcement of the rule of law.

He wrote, ‘The National Democratic Congress has decided to proceed to the Supreme Court to contest the results of the rigged elections of December 7. The decision follows a meeting of the National Executive Committee (NEC) of our party on Tuesday in Accra.
‘While in court, the NDC will continue all legitimate actions, including protests, to demand the enforcement of the rule of law and protection of life and property of the good people of Ghana‘.

Former President John Dramani Mahama has refused to concede defeat and accept the results of the 2020 elections.
They have cited alleged irregularities and declared the 2020 election result as rigged.
