Kumawood actor Michael Afranie has called most of the actors in Ghana as hypocrites.

Michael Afranie recalled in a recent interview how his colleagues refused to campaign for him when he was aspiring to become an MP in 2016.

He added that these same actors would have been knocking on his door begging for alms and support if he won the seat.

When the host asked if he reached out to them to help him campaign, he said he does not need to contact his colleagues before they support his ambitions.

Michael Afranie contested for member of Parliament in the Manso Nkwanta Constituency in the Ashanti Region but lost woefully.

The actor stated that his lost demoralized him to contest for this year but John Dumelo’s close contact to victory has motivated him to contest in the next election.
