Wontumi Mahama
Ashanti Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party, Bernard Antwi Boasiako, popularly known as Chairman Wontumi has warned the NDC flagbearer, Former President John Mahama to accept the election result or face its concequences.
According to Chairman Wontumi, Mahama refusing to concede defeat has led his supporters to indulge in demonstrations and causing trouble.

He has revealed that President Akufo-Addo would have to arrest Mahama like a fowl if he refuses to concede defeat and calm his supporters down.
He said, “If you make a mistake, Akufo-Addo would arrest you like a fowl..Just as fowls are used to celebrate Christmas, if John Mahama makes a mistake, he would be our Christmas chicken or hen”
