Violent protest has been recorded at the Electoral Commission(EC) premises as some National Democratic Congress(NDC) supporters burn tyres on the streets.

This happened earlier this morning following the declaration of the Presidential and Parliamentary results by the EC.

The police had to spray water on the protesters to prevent them from destroying properties as the peaceful demonstration began to escalate.

This protest is one of many happening across the country after the NDC and its leader John Mahama gave indications that they will not accept the results for the 2020 election.
