A 7-month old baby battling cancer at the Korle-But Teaching Hospital has died.
The kid was suffering from neuroblastoma and was receiving treatment at the Pediatric section of the Korlebu Teaching Hospital.
Ghanaian presenter Tima Kumkum tried raising money to help for the treatment of the late boy, which was slated to cost Ghc 120,000.
She managed to raise a sizeable portion of the money needed but the child unfortunately passed away anyway.
She posted today: “😭‼️WE LOST BABY IAN‼️💔🖤 It is with our deepest sorrow that we announce the loss of our beloved son and nephew baby Ian. We are in deep pain and our hearts are broken. His condition deteriorated these past few days leading up to his demise. We are reaching out to everyone who reached out to us, supported us, prayed with and for us. We thank God for all of you and God bless you all. May God reward everyone and replenish everyone for the love and kindness shown to Baby Ian and family. I’m so proud we all tried to save him but God knows best ,special thanks to all my followers for showing so much love and care both in cash and kindness in helping save our baby ,he fought a good fight. Thank you all. Heaven gained an angel.🤧😪😭😢😥😰😓. Rest in peace Baby Ian 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭.”
