Zapp Mallet Calls Out Stingy Sarkodie For Refusing To Pay Him Since 2019 After He Wrote And Produced A Song For Him

We have heard lots of people say Sarkodie is stingy and maybe there is some sort of truth in it.

Music producer Zapp Mallet has just called the Tema-based rapper out for his refusal to pay him after writing and producing his song titled ‘Party & Bullshit’ for him in 2019.

Speaking in an interview with Hammer Nti, he disclosed how lots of singers owe him after he makes a song for them. He says he cannot even remember some of their names.

“But I will insist they pay. As we speak some of the artists I can’t remember their names owe me. I wish I could remember.”

He explained how Sarkodie came to owe him.

“I was there when Mark Akraku called to tell me there was an artist who needed something but he has been going around without getting it but knew I was the one who could do that. He told me the young man wanted a kind of old-school flavor. So I asked him to come so we can do it which he (Mark Okaku) came.”

“He showed me the song they wanted me to sample and in about 30 minutes I was done with it. But they didn’t pay until one day when the artiste’s (Sarkodie) manager came and presented a contract on the sheet for me to sign. At the time, Mark was gone, he wasn’t there.”

He however refused to mention how much Sarkodie owes him.
