Nigerian Afrobeat singer, Wizkid has snatched the award for Best African Act from Ghanaian dancehall musicians Stonebwoy and Shatta Wale at the 2020 MOBO Award.

Stonebwoy and Shatta Wale were the only Ghanaians to get nominations at this year’s Music of Black Origin (MOBO) in the big category ‘Best African Act’.
The two were battling against talents like Burna Boy, Tiwa Savage, Davido, Fireboy DML, Rema, Master KG, Adekunle Gold, NSG, Afro B and Wizkid.

Wizkid took home the award while Burna Boy won Best International Act.
