South African Comedian Trevor Noah Announced As Host For 2021 GRAMMY Awards

Trevor Noah, a renown South African comedian and host of “The Daily Show”, has been announced as host of the 63rd GRAMMY Awards.

This will be the first time the GRAMMY-nominated comedian will host music’s biggest night slated to happen on January 31, 2021.

Reacting to the news, Trevor hilariously expressed disappointment in GRAMMYs refusing to let him sing or nominate him in the best pop album category but he promised to bring his A-Game to the show.

“Despite the fact that I am extremely disappointed that the GRAMMYs have refused to have me sing or be nominated for best pop album, I am thrilled to be hosting this auspicious event,” Noah said in a statement.

“I think as a one-time GRAMMY nominee, I am the best person to provide a shoulder to all the amazing artists who do not win on the night because I too know the pain of not winning the award! (This is a metaphorical shoulder, I’m not trying to catch Corona). See you at the 63rd GRAMMYs!”

Trevor Noah is a talented comedian and host and has grown his brand to become one of the most sought after names on American television and one of the most influential people on Earth.
