Ghanaian rapper Eno Barony has won Best Female Rap Act in Africa at the just ended African Muzik Magazine Awards (AFRIMMA).
The king of queens beat nine rappers across Africa including Nakai (South Africa), Moonya (Senegal), Rosa Ree (Tanzania), Bombshell Grenade (Zambia), Muthoni Drummer Queen (Kenya), Askia (Cameroon), Candy Bleakz (Nigeria), Keko (Uganda) and Rouge from South Africa to win the award.

Out of 25 nominations for Ghana, Eno is the only artist who took home an award.
Ghanaians who were nominated for the awards this year includes, Adina, Stonebwoy, Joe Mettle, Diana Hamilton, Kofi Mole, J Derobie, Efya, Kuami Eugene, Kidi, Manifest, Sarkodie, Medikal, Directors David Duncan and Gyo Gyimah, TV personality Jessica Opare Saforo, Andy Dostyand DJ Akua.

Eno shared the good news on her twitter and thanked her followers for believing in her. “The Best Female Rap Act in Africa @afrimma wow dreams come through. Thank u all for believing in me this is for Ghana.”
