Prison Break star Wentworth Miller has revealed that he is no longer comfortable with playing straight roles.
He says straight people’s stories have told over and over again so it is about time he changes the narrative.
“I just don’t want to play straight characters. Their stories have been told (and told).”

Taking to his Instagram page, he says he is sorry if anyone fell in life with the character Michael he played in Prison Break and if they have a problem that a gay man played it, it is their problem.
He wrote;
If you’re hot and bothered bec you fell in love with a fictional straight man played by a real gay one…That’s your work. – W.M.”

He says he would not be bullied on social media to be what he is not.
“I’m not concerned about myself. I can’t be “bullied” in this space. I have too much power. “Delete. Block. Deactivate.” Etc.“
