Former President Kuffour Mourns The Death Of His Best Friend Rawlings – Here’s What He Said

H.E John Agyekum Kuffour reacted to the death of former President Jerry John Rawlings with a very sad note.

Ex-President J.J Rawlings and J.A Kuffour were very best of friends although they belonged to rival political parties.

J.J Rawlings was confirmed dead earlier today at the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital after suffering a short illness.

His death has been met with sad rections across Africa with many world leadrs pourng out their condolence to the family and country.

In reaction to the sad news, J.A Kuffour posted the below words on his official twitter handle;

“REST IN PEACE JERRY JOHN RAWLINGS”

In a related news President Akufo-Addo has declared a seven-day national mourning starting Friday, November 13, 2020.

All national flags have also been directed to fly at half-mast for the next seven days in all parts of the country.
