Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Excellence in Broadcasting (EIB) network, Nathan Kwabena Anokye Adisi, aka Bola Ray, is Ghana’s media personality of the decade.
Bola Ray won the incredible honour at the 2020 Radio and Television Personality (RTP) awards held over the weekend at the Kempinski Hotel.
Bola’s high honour was shared with another legend of Ghanaian media, Kwame Sefa Kayi, the Chairman General of the airwaves.
The two veteran broadcasters were named as the media personalities of the decade at the awards.
Bola Ray’s media network, EIB, also had a great day at the awards night, picking up 5 other honours.
Starr Fm’s Francis Abban won the Personality Of The Year 2019-2020 Greater Accra Region, Agyenim Boateng was crowned the Radio Mid Morning Program Host Of The Year and Serwaa Amirhere picked up the TV Female Newscaster Of The Year (2019-2020).

The founder of the EIB Network, Dr Kwabena Duffuor, also won an Honorary Award for media development.
Bola Ray has been a mainstay in Ghana’s media landscape for decades at this point, but particularly over the past decade as he’s established the EIB network.
From humble beginnings the network has grown into one of the best in the country with top notch and award winning programs and anchors, all headed by Bola.
He also hosts Starr FM’s award-winning Starr Drive.
Bola Ray upon receiving the award sang praises to God on the big win in his career.
