Kuami Eugene has slammed Sarkodie for using their song together to campaign without his knowledge.
The two artistes released a song today, ‘Happy Day’, which contained a verse of Sarkodie praising Akufo-Addo and calling for 4more years for him.
Kuami Eugene has come out to reveal that he had no idea about it in a series of interviews this afternoon.
According to him the verse with politics was not part of the song he heard but was put in the final cut.
Eugene said he’s not happy because he has not consented to endorse any party and this will affect his career.
“Sarkodie only sent me the first verse of his rap which did not contain the endorsement for Nana Addo to aid me to do the chorus,” Eugen said.
“It was only at the video shoot that we got to know of the second verse. We confronted Sark’s management, and they denied doing the song as an endorsement for Nana Addo.”
Eugene added: “I am uncomfortable, I still don’t know Sarkodie’s motive for the song. The endorsement will have an effect on my career. I wasn’t ready to vouch for any political party openly. I know it will not end here,”

Eugene also made it clear that if he learns Sarkodie took money for the NPP endorsement then he will also go for his share.
Numerous Ghanaian celebrities are endorsing the NPP all of a sudden as the election draws nearer.
It’s obvious they’ve gone for some coins from the government to do that!
Sarkodie appears to have cunningly taken his money then used Eugene to hype his endorsement without Eugene’s knowledge!
That’s just cold and if he’s taken any money he should share and stop being so stingy.
