My Dream Was To Be A Lawyer But… – Shatta Wale Says

Charles Nii Armah Mensah is a very funny character. The dancehall musician says he wanted to be a lawyer when he was growing up.

Shatta Wale said on 3FM’s Mid-Morning show that his dream was supported by his family but he changed his mind when he completed school and chose to do music.

“After school, I wanted to be a lawyer…My dad also wanted me to be a lawyer. After school, I told him I wanted to do music for about two years,” he said.

Shatta also revealed that his music career was not easy fro start. He lost a lot of investment and was not making money from shows.

“When I started as Bandana, I realised that it was not going well. I was not getting money from shows and my record label too was bad. So I took some time to rebrand and come again,” Shatta Wale added.
