Queen Haizel is known for her raunchy behavior on social media and making distasteful comments on interviews.
For someone like Haizel, social media users will never think she would be mentioned in gospel music but the conversation has popped up.

The budding Ghanaian musician has spoken on why she chose to do dancehall and not gospel or any other genre of music.
Haizel was in a conversation with Foster Romanus on eTV and she indicated that she wished to join the gospel musicians sing the praises of God but a lot of things hinder that.

One of the hurdles she is not ready to jump is fornication. Queen Haizel said it will be very difficult to refrain from fornication and so she can not be a gospel musician.
“I could but I wouldn’t. It’s not that I don’t like God but I feel like when I do gospel, I’m not supposed to fornicate and do other minor things but if I do gospel, I’ll still be doing those things and it will be like I’m deceiving God and myself,” she answered Foster.
The singer returned from the Caribbean by bus after she was reported dead by her manager and brother.
