Emelia Brobbey Discloses Why She Decided To End Kuami Eugene’s Career

Emelia Brobbey is hilariously known as a ‘career-ender’ and this only borders on the music path she decided to toe about two years ago.

She earned this title when she debuted her song last year titled ‘Fa Me Ko’. It was a disaster!

Had she sought our advice, we would have asked her to stick to the acting and more so, precariously to hosting her show because she is doing very well in both departments.

Fans fears that Emelia collaborating with any artist on a song is tantamount to career over for them even before it starts but it did not stop Prince from doing just that.

As we have it, there is a remix of her song ‘Fa Me ko’ which features Prince.

Emelia in an interview with Amansan Krakye has revealed that she really did not go looking for a collaboration with Kuami Eugene. She says how they met was sheer coincidence, a beautiful one too.

“I will say that featuring Kuami Eugene on my song makoma was a beautiful coincidence. Since I’m speaking in Cape Coast I have to blend my English with a bit of Fante.”

According to her, he even wanted to remix Fa Me Ko with her but she told her Prince already had the spot so they decided to do an entirely different song.

“We met at National Theatre in 2019 and by then I had released Fa me kor which made a lot of people to hurl insults at me. So Kuami Eugene said Emelia let’s do a remix of Fa me kor because I don’t see anything wrong with the song.

“But I told him that Prince Bright wanted to do the Fa me kor remix so why don’t we rather do another song instead so that’s what brought my song makoma,”
