2020 has been a year of unforgettable moments but one of the most memorable for Ghanaians will be the wedding ‘Kency2020’ between Kennedy Osei and his wife Tracy.

Kennedy Osei is the son of one of Ghana’s richest men, Osei Kwame Despite, and the wedding was a massive extravaganza.

The amount of luxury cars that attended the wedding was a marvel. All sort of exotic, classic and super expensive cars were at the wedding, before we even talk about the expensive nature of the wedding, the display of gold and affluent wealth.

All that display of wealth apparently alerted the Ghana Revenue Authority who went after the Despite clan for taxes.

A Plus, in an interview with Ola Michael on Neat Fm Tuesday, said the insane display of wealth led to the GRA going after Despite.

“Do you know the kind of information I have, recently after the wedding (KENCY2020), GRA went after some people…I mean the first wedding. That is how come they didn’t line-up cars in the second wedding,” A Plus said.

The 2nd wedding he refers to is the wedding of Cindy Ofori Sarpong and Richard, which recently happened.

Cindy is the daughter of Dr Ernest Ofori Sarpong of Special Ice and whilst Ghanaians expected a similar display to KENCY 2020, it didn’t happen.

Apparently, they toned things down to make sure the taxman doesn’t come after them this time.
