Veteran media personality Nana Aba Anamoah has responded to some Nigerians insulting Prez Akufo-Addo following his statement on EndSARS protest in Nigeria.

Yesterday, President Akufo-Addo released a statement on the EndSARS protest and current social unrest in Nigerian after yielding to the pressure from Ghanaians to react as ECOWAS Chairman.

In a statement, President Akufo-Addo noted that he has spoken to Prez Buhari to address the issue and instil peace in Nigeria.

He went on to condemn the violence in the country emanating from police brutality and attack on the protesters.

However, a faction of Nigerians have reacted bitterly to President Akufo-Addo’s statement. Whilst some have noted he needed to call Buhari out to speak to them, others have completely shunned him for meddling in their affairs.

Responding to their insults, the General Manager of GHOne TV, Nana Aba Anamoah has noted that they should rather go to Abuja to demand a speech from President Buhari instead of the unnecessary pressure being mounted on Akufo-Addo.

She added that Akufo-Addo is not Buhari’s father to suffer something Buhari must do!
