For some strange reasons, many Christians have formed the opinion that wearing trousers to any event is sinful regardless of how loose and decent it is.
That is the mentality gospel musician Diana Asamoah was holding on to for years until she broke that erroneous mental bondage at a function in the States.

Diana says that she was speaking at an event in the States as a woman of God of course and the people were not entirely happy with one of the speakers who had a weird-looking haircut.
She narrated;
“I had spoken against wearing trousers for years. I later found myself in the States, where almost everyone there was wearing trousers.
“I was billed for a program with other invited guests. While I was sitting at the high stage, a lady walked to the high stage with a much-wired hair cut to me and the general Ghanaians populace who had come for the program abroad.
“I was surprised to see such a person on a high stage with us. Also, the member was showing their unhappiness through facial expression and body language. They even said the organizer has brought ‘mami wata’ to sit on the high stage.
“For me, I came on stage to minister and did all that I had to do. I went to sit while waiting for the preacher to come, to my surprise by then, the lady with the wired hair cut was invited to the pulpit to preach.”

She added;
“In fact, the voice that came out from her mouth was like fire, it was very powerful.
“In the submission of the lady, she told the congregation that; they were a lot of youth in the States who need to be rescued, hence as preachers, we ought to find ways and means to bring them into Christianity. Her point was understandable to me at that time because she could actually get to the youth to preach to them.
“In addition to the preacher’s point, there are many ladies who do not wear trousers, but their lifestyle is more than ‘demons’, so Christianity is not about dressing but by acts.
“Since then, I have toured 31 States in the US while wearing trousers to do the work of God.”
