Kennedy Agyapong Again Fails To Appear In Court – Lawyer Claims He Has Coronavirus Complications

Assin Central MP, Hon Kennedy Agyapong has again failed to turn up in court for his contempt hearing.

Honourable Kennedy Agyapong is apparently standing trial over his contemptuous remarks against some Ghanaian judges involving a previous land case he lost.

According to reports, Kennedy Agyapong has for the second time failed to show up for the hearing which was scheduled for today, September 28th.

His lawyer, Mr Kwame Gyan explained that Hon Kennedy Agyapong has gotten post COVID-19 complications following his last hearing.

Medical reports concerning Kennedy Agyapong’s health status were submitted for court considerations as his lawyer prayed for adjournment of the case.

The judge Justice Amos moved to accept the terms on the medical report as he adjourned hearing to October 10th 2020.

The judge has therefore requested that the medical doctor, Ken Addo of Holy Trinity Medical Center/SPA appeared before the court on October 1st to brief the honourable court on the report.

“It is hereby ordered that the medical officer Dr. Ken Addo of Holy Trinity Medical Center/spa and Health Farm appears before this court on Thursday Oct 1st 2020 to speak to the medical excuse duty,”
