A sister of the Ghanaian woman murdered by her pastor husband, Barbara Tammey, has revealed the background to the video recorded a few days before Barbara’s death in which her husband threatened to murder her.
According to the sister, speaking to Kofi Adoma on Kofi TV, Pastor Sylvester Ofori tried to strangle Barbara to death that day before he later told his brother-in-law he would kill her.
She narrated what happened when they visited the house. According to her they were there to get some documents related to some immigration procedures Barbara was helping her (the sister’s) children to go through.

She said Barbara went to the house with her big brother for the documents because she’s been trying to divorce Ofori who is not happy about that.
However, when they got there he tried to strangle Barbara, which is what led to the violent altercation captured in the video in which Barbara’s elder brother threatened to beat up the pastor and threw him out of the house. Watch that video here.
Before leaving however, Sylvester told Barbara’s brother that he will kill Barbara, a chilling statement which he later carried out.
