The 2020 edition of the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards was crowned Saturday night, August 29th.
Our hard-working and dedicated musicians were recognised with various awards for the night.
The 2-day award program saw young musician Kuami Eugene adjudged as the overall boss – he won the ‘Artiste Of The Year Award’

KiDi, Kofi Kinaata, Medikal, Kwesi Arthur, Kofi Mole, Fameye and others also received various award title with some bagging more than 2.
On the other hand, King Promise went home with zero awards after getting 7 good nominations.
The artiste was noted for; High Life Artiste of the year, Song Writer of the Year, Male Vocalist of the year, Afrobeat Song of the year and others, yet he won none.

Reacting to it, social media users have shown pity for the musician.
They have noted that the ‘Bra’ hitmaker has released hit upon hit but he has not been appreciated with any award yet.
One social media user wrote, ‘My Heart Bleeds 💔for King Promise, hits upon Hits, back to Back and still no Award #congrat Fadama Kanya west‘
