With the absence of Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy from the 2020 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards, it was a night for the young lads to finally grab some shine and make their presence felt on the big stage.

One award category that was keenly been monitored by music lovers was the best rapper of the year category; a category that saw the likes of Eno Barony, Teephlow, Strongman Burner, Medikal, Kwesi Arthur, Sarkodie and others pitched against each other for the ultimate.
Though all nominees had demonstrated within the period under review that they rightly deserved the award, many music lovers believe that the dynamic Eno Barony and Strongman Burner were probably a little bit ahead to lay claim to the award.
Surprisingly, this was not to be the case as the award fell to Ghanaian BET Award nominee, Kwesi Arthur.

Shocked and disappointed music lovers then took to Twitter to vent out their frustrations at the event organizers.
