Actress Yvonne Nelson has expressed deep regret over having faith that the NPP would come to power and change things in the country.
According to her, she’s now learned that no politician can be trusted to make things better for Ghanaians and they’re all the same.
Yvonne took to Twitter to cry out over the current performance of the NPP – the government Ghanaians placed all our hope in during the 2016 elections to come and save us from the NDC.

Instead they have come to give us more of the same.
“As for our LEADERS, biggest disappointment. I had so much faith in them charley! They are all the same! Just doesn’t make sense! The country belongs to special families every 4 years! God have mercy!” Yvonne complained on Twitter.
The actress was a big critic of the NDC and fought to help expose their mistakes. Her dumsor vigil was a big event which brought so much attention to the NDC’s failures in the power sector.
However it appears the NPP have not been much different in their time in office.

Yvonne in a 2nd tweet made it clear that based on this she might be looking at public service herself sometime in the future.
“If you seriously think a POLITICIAN cares about you, you are in lala land! Our GENERATION gotta do better! Whatever happens in the future, having that politician tag on me will be heavy! That title is DIRTY, i’d rather you call me YN the people’s SERVANT,” she wrote.
