Popular singer Mzbel has revealed that after much reflection, she has decided to take a break from active NDC politics as a result of the insults and name-calling generated by the ‘papa no’ brouhaha.
The singer had come under intense media scrutiny as a result of the barrage of attacks launched against her by Kumawood actress, Tracey Boakye.
However, speaking on Peace FM’s Entertainment review yesterday, Mzbel explained that she has decided to step back a bit from active campaigning for her beloved NDC.
She explained that this did not mean she had left the party but she had to take a break because she realized innocent people like former President Mahama have suffered unwarranted attacks because of her.
Mzbel also revealed that the former President, who some have tagged as ‘papa no’, has called her to offer her a word of advice.
