A popular Nigerian man of God, Johnson Suleman has reacted to an outrageous ruling by a Sharia court in Kano, Nigeria, which sentenced a musician to death for blasphemy.
Musician Yahaya Sharif-Aminu, 22, was found guilty of blaspheming against the Prophet Mohammed by a Sharia court in Nigeria’s northern state of Kano and sentenced to death.
According to the BBC, Yahaya composed a song praising an imam from the Tijaniya Muslim brotherhood. His so-called blasphemy is because the song praised the imam too much and elevated him above Mohammed.
Reacting to the bizarre ruling, Apostle Suleman noted that even Saudi Arabia, the origin of Islam, will be shocked by such a ruling.
The Apostle Tweeted, “A country that pardons terrorists want to kill a man for blasphemy. I am sure even Saudi Arabia is shocked..the worst form of deception is self-deceit…”
