Joe Biden Picks Senator Kamala Harris As Running Mate - She Could Be U.S' First Female Veep

Democratic Presidential candidate Joe Biden has named Senator Kamala Harris as his running mate for the 2020 elections.

Biden named Kamala to the role to take on Donald Trump and his Vice President Mike Pence in November.

Kamala is a U.S senator from California and was part of the Democratic primary but was forced to drop out.

Biden announced on Twitter that Kamala is “a fearless fighter for the little guy, and one of the country’s finest public servants,”

She’s the first black woman named to the role and will becom the U.S’ first female Vice President if elected.

Former Obama Vice President Joe Biden and President Donald Trump face off in the 2020 U.S elections in November.
