Massive Explosion In Beirut, Lebanon; Scared Ghanaian Lady Narrates Horror Story Of Injured And Dead Colleagues

News broke yesterday about a massive explosion in Beirut Lebanon, suspected to be an explosion caused by the initial fire reaching an explosives depot in the port area.

Later, accusations and counter-accusations began to fly around from Lebanese and Israeli camps with Israel tagging the explosion as an accidental explosion from a Hezbollah arms stockpile.

Unsurprisingly, some Lebanese sources have also pointed accusing fingers at Israel, labelling them as the mastermind of the massive explosion, though preliminary investigations are yet to establish any evidence of foul play.

Erica Marfo, a Ghanaian domestic worker based in Beirut has narrated to this portal a horror story of colleagues who were unfortunately caught up in the unfortunate incident and have suffered various degrees of injuries.

Some of the images and videos are too graphic that we cannot share on this portal, but it is clear that the government needs to as a matter of urgency, initiate steps to bring these Ghanaians back home before things get worse.
