There have been talks in the media that actors, particularly those in Ghana should keep a ‘day job’ to be able to survive the current economic hardship but that nearly ended in a fight in the last discussion.
Veteran actor Kofi Adjorlolo and Elikem Kumordzie stirred controversy a few months ago when they confessed that Ghanaian actors do not earn much to live good.

Juliet Ibrahim and others took the matter on as they defended acting is their full-time profession, implying that they live their highly extravagant life based on the money they make in acting.
Apparently that should be a lie. According to Ghanaian actor and comedian KSM, no Ghanaian actor can be counted as rich because of acting.

He noted that acting is not lucrative in Ghana and Ghanaian actors do not earn enough money to flaunt the wealth most of the celebrities are flaunting.
