The U.S legal representative of Nigerian big boy Hushpuppi who was arrested for a $430M Cyber scam and caught with $37 million in cash, Gal Pissetzky has dispelled rumours suggesting that his client has been released.

Information was making rounds yesterday that popular Instagram celebrity Ramon Olorunwa Abas had been released from jail.

However, in an interview with Punch NG, Gal Pissetzky clarified that though he and his team have mounted a strong defense for the embattled celebrity, he has not yet been released as was being circulated.

“Just because the jail record says ‘released’ does not mean he has been released. He is being transferred to California”. He said.

Hushpuppi was denied bail in his Chicago trial even though his attorney argued that he’s ‘loved and respected’ and had much to lose.
