The NDC Must Take Ghanaians for Fools Because they Just Promised Free Tertiary Education After Demonizing Free SHS

The opposition National Democratic Congress has just dropped the most massive promise of the 2020 campaign season so far – they are going to make tertiary education free in their next term.

An Ashanti Regional communication executive of the party, Onasis Rosely Kobby, made the promise during an appearance on Hello Fm Wednesday.

Onassis made this promise whilst wishing final year SHS students the best in the upcoming exams.

“I want to use this opportunity to encourage all the WASSCE candidate, I send God’s blessings upon them,” he said.

“They need to pass so they can vote for John Mahama in order for them to attend university for free, as Mahama has promised.”

The NDC, remember, is the same party which vehemently opposed free SHS when the NPP proposed it during the last elections.

To this day they insist it is a terrible policy, yet now in order to win power free tertiary education, which would even be bigger and more expensive, is a good policy?

They truly must take Ghanains for fools to even bring this policy out after their insistent opposition to free SHS.

However as we’ve all seen, trying to win power turns you into King Promise. Nana Addo has shown us that talk is cheap and campaign promises are rarely fulfilled.

The problem is the two lying and cheating parties, NDC and NPP, are our only choices in December. Ghana is truly doomed.
