Shatta Wale Is Only A Friend And Brother To Me, He Cannot Be My Father – Joint 77 Reveals

A former member of the Shatta Wale signees, Joint 77 has revealed in an interview his relationship with his mentor, describing the dancehall artiste as a friend and not a father.

According to him, even though many people have seen Shatta Wale as a father figure to him and the other militants, he has always insisted that the dancehall king is his friend.

Joint 77 is said to have had a friendship with the controversial dancehall artiste that dates back to several years ago when Wale was yet to become a household name, with Joint 77 providing shelter for his friend at the time.

He added that Natty Lee, Addi Self, and Captan may be tagged as children of Shatta Wale but not him, insisting that he only sees his former boss as a friend.
