Popular Ghanaian rapper Medikal has recounted his difficult beginnings as a hustler on the streets of Accra, where he was homeless and had to sleep under the Kaneshie bridge for three weeks.

In an interview with Kwaku Manu, Medikal revealed that things were so difficult that he had to resort to selling phones at Circle in order to survive.
According to the rapper, he did not lose hope in life because his mother was a solid pillar behind him, encouraging him when all hope was fading away.
Today, Medikal has made a name for himself as a prolific and famous rapper, with considerable wealth in his possession, a feat he claims to have achieved by dint of hard work.
